We went in February for our amazing 7 days safari with Afrimine Tours. We visited Tarangire National park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Anderson is an excellent… Read more driver and a very professional and experienced guide. He was extremely passionate about what he does and he has an enormous amount of knowledge and love for his beautiful country. He managed to spot and identify an enormous amount of wildlife.
We were very happy with all of our accommodations. We would highly recommend Afrimine Tours and our amazing guide Anderson to anyone traveling to Tanzania in the future. It was an incredible safari and a trip of a lifetime that we will always remember!
6 day tour with Afrimine – I was greeted at the airport by Anderson holding a sign with my name and the biggest welcome smile on his face. I immediately felt at ease knowing we booked… Read more the right company for my safari adventures. We started out by visiting a Maasai tribe, we were invited to participate in their welcome ceremony which I truly enjoyed. We then made our way to Lake Natron where we stayed at the eco friendly Giraffe Lodge. The next day our Maasai guide took us on a tour of the lake where we saw tons of flamingoes and then proceeded to walk to the most beautiful waterfall I have ever seen. The next day we visited the bushmen and went hunting with them. Then on to the Serengeti for our 3 day game drive. Dennis our driver was extremely knowledgable about the animals and their behaviors. The highlight of my trip was sleeping in the tented lodge at the Serengeti. You can hear the animals at night! So freaking cool! All accommodations and services were perfect for us, I was very satisfied and happy with Afrimine. I will for sure recommend Anderson and Dennis to all my friends and family that are interested in visiting Tanzania. Thanks guys! You made me fall in love with Tanzania!
WOW 🤩 7 day's private Safari Moshi/Tarangire NP/Serengeti NP/Ngorongoro Crater/Materuni – "Africa changes you forever, like nowhere on earth. Once you have been there, you will never be the same."
I loved the whole experience from the booking process with… Read more Ben via Whatsapp/Email and the pick up at the airport to the arrival in Moshi at the Guesthouse.
I deliberately chose Afrimine tours.
The safari was a private safari over 7 days.
1. Day in Moshi, 2. Day Chemka hot springs, 3. Day Tarangire NP, 4. + 5. Day Serengeti, 6. Day Ngorongoro Crater, 7. Day Materuni Waterfalls and Coffee Tour in the village.
The service Ben offered me exceeded all my expectations. I thought it was great how smoothly everything went.
The first day in Moshi was intended for recreation and getting to know. We visited the local market, explored the city, visited the coffee plantations and even got a view of Kilimanjaro with its snow-capped summit to welcome.
The second day was a great experience. With the Boda Boda (scooter) we drove 18km through the villages, so I immediately had the feeling what the village life looks like.
The Chemka hot springs are located in the middle of the dry savanna. An oasis surrounded by palm trees with a turquoise-blue basin with warm water and the best bathing conditions. A dream with fish spa included!
The 3th day was the beginning of a breathtaking series of adventures.
The Tarangire NP, is absolutely worth seeing. Many elephants, enormous baobab and on the watering holes we have observed the African life of the animals.
Ben is an excellent spotter and has surprised me many times with a sighting that I only discovered after a few moments.
On the 4th day we went to the Serengeti. We had an early descent from the accommodation to discover as much of the beauty of this wilderness as possible.
"Serengeti shall never die" stands at the entrance gate to this stunning natural wonder. This beautiful landscape initially surprises with a wide plain. The camera ready, have also welcomed us right at the beginning a lion family, who have been lying in the midday heat in the high grass.
Ben is an excellent driver and has always put the jeep in a good position so that I could capture unforgettable moments with my camera.
I was very impressed by the stories Ben tells every single sighting. Observing animal behaviour and Ben’s knowledge was an inconceivable experience.
The day was filled with adventure!
In the evening we arrived at Tanzania Bushcamp. The welcome to the camp was wonderful. After a refreshment and briefing, I moved into my fixed tent with a heavenly view of grazing buffalo and wildebeest. The tent was very comfortable and huge. The bathroom was pure luxury after a long day in the wilderness.
The 5th day was an early start. Right after we left the camp, we ran into a python that was looping over the path. A fascinating sight of this 4 meter long snake. We admired huge herds of wildebeest, we enjoyed lunch in the middle of the open plain.
It was like the movie "Beyond Africa." Wide plains, herds of wildebeest and zebras at a close distance and we in the middle.
The nights at the camp were filled with shouts of nature. To hear hyaenes and lions, the buffalo who raced in front of my tent at night and to be so close in nature made me listen awesomely.
On Day 6, Ben came up with a very special surprise for me. We visited a boma of the Massai at Ngorongoro Crater. They showed me their life in the clay-built huts.
Wrapped in a shuka (traditional Massai blanket) and with typical Massai jewelry around my neck, I danced with the women and the Massai men showed their jumping power.
I can only recommend this experience!
At Crater we visited the hippo pool for lunch and explored the plains. Many animals were on a hike to the waterholes.
Experiencing this natural wonder in its diversity is a unique experience.
Filled with these impressions, I left this incredible nature with a heavy heart.
On the 7th day Ben went with me to his village called Materuni at the lopes of Kilimanjaro.
We made a small 5 km long hike to the waterfall. The waterfall itself lies in the settlement area of the Chagga and is the second largest waterfall in Tanzania. On the way we ate local bananas and saw Chamaeleons. The waterfall is gigantic and a welcome refreshment.
In the village I was warmly welcomed to a very tasty lunch. The whole coffee making process was explained and shown, we danced, sang, stomped and laughed.
An unforgettable day and a successful conclusion of this unique safari!
Dear Ben, I would like to thank you very much for this Safari of my life time!
The energy you exert to explain this unique nature to me, the beautiful places you have shown me and the incredible moments with the wildlife have made this journey an unforgettable experience for me!

Great service, professional guiding, friendly and experienced.
Highly recomended safaries , nature and cultural tours.
BEST tour group to work with – BEST tour group I could ever imagine. I stayed in Tanzania for 3 weeks and did all kind of activities including camping safari, walking safari, trip to Zanzibar, spice farm… Read more visit, swimming holes, waterfalls, snorkeling, cultural activities, touring of different non-profit organizations and orphanages. Our trip was highly customized to what we wanted to learn/experience and was anything but ordinary, which is what made it so special. The best part of the trip was having Anderson as our tour guide. He was so thorough, trustworthy, and good hearted. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all things you may be interested in- culture, history, traditional practices, political issues, etc. There is nothing I would have changed about our trip and no one I would recommend more than Anderson and Afrimine tours. I will definitely be using their services again if I am fortunate enough to travel back to Tanzania.
Awesome time in Tanzania – Thanks to our wonderful guide Anderson (we are lucky people!), we saw 5/5 of the Big Five and more. Anderson was patient, hustled to get us to where we needed… Read more to be to help us see as many animals as possible, and was a joy to be around. Would definitely travel with Anderson again.

Tanzania Safari – As part of a school group on a "Week Without Walls" trip, I helped to chaperone sixty middle school students on a safari with Afrimine Tours. Our tour… Read more left our hotel very early in the morning and passed the goat market. The goat market is truly a must see as it is a vital part of the community, however skip it if you are squeamish. There are hundreds of goats in a very large market, more than you can ever imagine in one place. From there we joined our safari. This is our second safari and was much more intimate than our previous safari in Kenya. As the park is less crowded, we were able to get much closer to the animals. Tarangire National Park is incredible but very intimate. I really felt that we were able to get up close and watch the animals for an extended period of time.
Benson Anderson was our tour guide, and not only is he very polite and conscientious with excellent English, as well, he has the gift of finding all of the Big Five with the addition of a cheetah family! The safari was the highlight of the trip but the Massai warriors seen along the road were also exciting to see. Tanzania is overall a better trip and better vibe than Kenya. Please ask for Benson, you will be very pleased with his service.
Fulfill a dream – climbing up the highest and most famous summit in Tanzania. Mount Kilimanjaro stands almost 6000 meters above sea level, but one does not need to be an experienced mountain climber to reach its peak.
Kilimanjaro climbing Machame Route 7 days, the ‘whiskey route’ as it is sometimes called is the most scenic, beautiful & challenging route.
Kilimanjaro trekking Marangu Route in 6 days is what we recommend as it allows one day of acclimatization at Horombo on the 3rd day.
Lemosho Route is an unspoiled, remote, little-used, and beutiful way up to the Shira Plateau, takes 7 day to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
