The park was established in 2019 and is the largest National Park in Africa with an area of over 30.000 square kilometers which is also part of Selous Game Reserve.
It has a wide variety of habitats that support an incredible variety of large numbers of animals that are predators and prey as well as flora (plants) and fauna (animals) like lions, leopard, hyena, impressive numbers of antelope and the most unique and rare animals to see wild dogs, the mighty Rufiji river is also part of park ecosystem which is the largest river in East Africa and is a suitable home for hippos and crocodiles and act as the primary source of water during the dry season.
The park has the most extensive diversity of safari activities ranging from romantic Boat Safari along the Great Rufiji River, legendary fly camping trips, walking, and compliment standard game driving in thriving wildlife areas.
You will explore plenty of wildlife not to mention a rich diversity of Birds, flora and fauna. Walks are done by experienced and trained guides, and these guides often happen to be local people who have the advantage of being born and bred in the very region that you are exploring.
